Allie and Marcel’s wedding day unfolded at Elske in Chicago, an intimate late summer celebration tucked into the West Loop.

They exchanged vows in the restaurant’s courtyard, standing before a striking outdoor fireplace as warm August light settled softly around them. Surrounded by close friends, the ceremony was filled with meaningful glances and the quiet hum of a city evening just beyond the walls.

Upstairs, the reception carried that same warmth inside one of Chicago’s Michelin starred spaces, where guests gathered over an unforgettable meal and lingered late into the evening.

Refined yet relaxed. Elegant, never overdone. A wedding that proved intimacy can be just as breathtaking as grandeur.

Lindsay and Adam were married in Jackson Square beneath the towering St. Louis Cathedral in the heart of the French Quarter. On a bright and sunlit March afternoon, they exchanged vows surrounded by the rhythm and color that makes New Orleans unforgettable.

They prepared for the day at Hotel Monteleone, soaking in the anticipation before stepping out into the city’s historic streets. After the ceremony, guests gathered for a celebratory brunch at Antoine’s restaurant, where conversation and champagne flowed easily.

From there, the celebration turned joyfully iconic. Led by the All For One Brass Band, family and friends danced their way through the Quarter in a lively second line, making their way to Pat O’Brien’s as music echoed down the streets.

It was vibrant and full of life. A wedding woven seamlessly into the spirit of New Orleans.

Destination Wishlist

There are a select number of places that deeply inspire my work — venues and landscapes with atmosphere, history, and romance woven into them. I reserve a limited number of destination dates each year in these locations where couples cover travel accommodations in place of a standard wedding collection.

These celebrations are especially meaningful to me creatively, and I approach them with the same level of intention, artistry, and care as every wedding I photograph.

• Race & Religious — New Orleans, LA

• Desert View — Apache Junction, AZ

• V. Sattui Winery— St. Helena, CA

• Villa Bellezza — Pepin, WI

If your wedding is planned in one of these locations and your date aligns, I would love to hear more about your vision. Please reach out for full details and availability.
