Hi, I’m Erika

As a wedding photographer, I’ve always been drawn to romance & the art of remembering. Chicago Lovers Archive is an extension of that, with a little more movement & a soundtrack to match.

My approach blends a photographer’s eye for composition with the intimacy of iPhone video, creating a collection of candid clips & thoughtfully edited films that belong as much in your personal archive as they do on your feed.

  • You will receive all clips and edits within 24 hours of your wedding day.

  • Short edits capture a moment, a mood or a little piece of your story, from romantic portraits to your favorite people taking over the dance floor. They’re set to music & easy to share or replay whenever you like.

    The longer story edits bring more of the day together, with separate highlights for getting ready, your ceremony, the reception & the full wedding day. These give you more time to revisit each part of the celebration. They’re edited highlights rather than full-length recordings.

  • Content creation gives you a different way to relive your wedding, with candid iPhone clips & edited videos delivered within 24 hours. Photography preserves your day in still images, while traditional videography offers a more extensive film experience. You can book content creation alongside either or both, depending on what you want to remember.

  • As a wedding photographer myself, I understand the space & timing your photo and video teams need. I work alongside them, finding a different perspective while giving them room to capture theirs.

  • Yes. I love traveling for weddings and sessions.

  • Start by telling me your date & a little about what you’re planning. We’ll find the coverage that suits your celebration, then a signed contract & retainer make it official.

  • Your friends will capture memories you’ll love, but having someone dedicated to it means they get to be part of the day without being responsible for documenting it. With my background in wedding photography, I bring an understanding of composition, light & timing to every clip, along with knowing where to be & what to anticipate. You get thoughtfully captured footage & your favorite people get to put their phones down, celebrate with you & stay on the dance floor.

  • Your videos are yours to enjoy however you like. Share a few favorites, send them to your closest people or watch them together over breakfast the next morning. They’re just as much for you as they are for your feed.

  • Only if you want to. My approach centers on candid moments & romantic edits. If there’s a trend you love, we can talk about incorporating it, but there’s no expectation to turn your wedding into a content shoot.
