Hi, I’m Erika! I’m a romantic at heart and a storyteller by trade. I honestly think I have the best job because I get to capture love, joy, and all the fleeting moments that make life unforgettable.

Since starting Lovers Locket in 2023, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings, elopements, engagements, proposals, maternity sessions, graduations, senior portraits and more! Each one a unique story waiting to be told.

My husband, our dog, and I recently made Chicago our forever home after years of adventure across Minnesota, Kentucky, Ohio, Colorado, South Carolina, Kansas, and Louisiana.

I love finding the beauty in every glance, laugh, and embrace, turning those fleeting moments into photos that will be treasured for a lifetime.

    My husband

    Sean and I have been married for 7 years and together for over a decade now. Sean has been in the army for the last 8 years and finally got out in May. Now he teaches at Sullivan High School in Rogers Park. He is also currently being trained to eventually take over as my main second shooter.

    Our Dogs

    Oakley was 13 years old and we had her since she was 5. She loved stealing peoples spots on the couch and laying in sunny spots in the yard. She sadly passed in January 2026.

    Fawkes is 8 years old and we have had her since she was a puppy. She loves burrowing under blankets and playing hide and seek around the house.
